Circo Perrotti's analog heaven

During our trip to Gijón (Spain) last summer we were lucky enough to visit one of it's best kept secrets. Circo Perrotti is the wonderful analog recording studio run by Jorge Muñoz-Cobo, a local hero best know as frontman of the garage band Doctor Explosion. Hidden in a tiny space in a random street, Circo Perrotti is heaven for anyone that likes vintage sounds and classic recording techniques. Just look how gorgeous all that old equipment looks!

Many great albums have been recorded at Circo Perrotti, but if we have to choose just one that would be Into Your Ears by The Ripe. The band, based in Austin (Texas), features Muñoz-Cobo himself and sounds amazing.
